Astrum Ampang SOHO Transit @ A Transit-Oriented Urban Comfort

Ever since I started my first job, I have always wanted to own a place for myself.
Though I've married and have a home with Lik, this dream will never fade away, and perhaps I can have a Soho unit for working & chilling. :)
I always dream of a place that's enough for one person staying.
The place does not have to be very big, spacious enough with good amenities; a decent living room, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom, and a good location to access to public transport easily.
But if you know the KL property, you shall know it's quite a challenge to find one at an affordable price.

I recently visited a new property development, Astrum Ampang, a modern inspiration embraces the "City Within City" concept.
The development creates avenues for residents to live their lives abundantly, all possible with the Setia Awan Group’s Hotel, Office, Park, Shopping, Connectivity and Apartment (HOPSCA) blueprint.
During my visit, I've taken some pictures and received some information about the property that I would like to share today.

Astrum Ampang

Astrum Ampang is a 6.85-acre mixed property development, with a gross development value (GDV) of RM1.68 billion, comprises 6 towers of between 24 and 48 storeys; namely A, S, T, R, U and M.
There will be a total of 5, 228 units, including Astrum Ampang’s SOHO Transit with a built-up area of 280sq.ft, SOHO Suites with 450 sq.ft and the Mampu Milik Service Apartments comprising of 450sq.ft & 550 sq.ft respectively.

Transit Oriented Development (TOD) and SOHO Transit concept

It is the first ever development with a Transit Oriented Development (TOD) and SOHO Transit Concept in the country.
Its long list of facilities and amenities will add to the magnetism for young working professionals to live, work and unwind in the vibrant city of Kuala Lumpur.
The development was planned and designed to promote public transport ridership to create sustainable growth in the city; Astrum Ampang will be directly linked to the Jelatek LRT station via a covered pedestrian bridge.


Astrum Ampang is located in the heart of KL city, along bustling Jalan Ampang and Jalan Jelatek areas, which is about 4km away from the Petronas Twin Towers.
The location provides a short distance to other amenities such as Gleneagles Medical Centre, Great Eastern Mall, Ministry of Defense, and an array of businesses, embassies, private and public schools and many more. 
If you look into the map, it's easily accessible via Jalan Amapang, Jalan Jelatek, Middle Ring Road 2, Duta-Ulu Kelang Expressway, Ampang-Kuala Lumpur Elevated Highway, Duta-Ulu Kelang Expressway and Kuala Lumpur-Karak Expressway.

Accessible to Public Transport

A Jelatek LRT station is located just 150m away from the property, allowing the resident to direct access to KL Sentral, Kuala Lumpur's hub of public transport that also houses the KTM line, Monorail and Express Rail LInk (ERL).
For instance, 1 stop to Damai Station, 2 stops to Dato Keramat's Station, 3 stops to Ampang Park Station and 4 stops at KLCC Station.

The SOHO Transit Home

During my visit, I'm glad that I had the chance to visit the SOHO Transit showroom, with a built-up area of 280sq.ft, 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom. 
The home is designed with practicality.
It is suited to the needs of 30-somethings with the desire to live in an urban setting.
With a price of RM230,00, it allows young working adults to redirect their rental overheads towards owning a property with 62 Star facilities and amenities for a comfortable and convenient lifestyle.

SOHO Transit is compact yet cozy for those who just need a small space.
Even though it only built-up area of 280sq.ft, it can still pack a punch with tasteful and contemporary furnishing.
