Bangkok ~ Central Point Pratunam Hotel

My Raya holiday was well-spent!
As said on my last post, I went to Bangkok for a week with my parents and brother.
The holiday was really awesome!
Hope you all had the same awesome one.

Before my trip, I have been asked where do I stay this time in Bangkok.
I usually book my stay in Bangkok with the boutique hotels because it was only 3 days and 2 nights stay, also the prices from the boutique hotels are much cheaper.
Since this time I am spending holiday with my parents, so we booked a proper hotel as we think they will feel more comfortable.
After doing some researches with my brother, we decided to go with the Centre Point Hotel which located at Pratunam area.

This is not our first time staying at Centre Point Hotel.
We been here 4 years ago when we traveled to Bangkok and Pattaya with the tour agent.
Obviously the first impression for us was very good, if not we wouldn't want to come back as there are so many other choices in Bangkok, also located at the same area.

We booked 2 deluxe rooms; one for my parents, one for me and my brother sharing.
Total we paid for 6 nights, 2 rooms at THB 28000, about RM 2800 plus.

We have asked for the connecting rooms which both our rooms are connected by a private door.

Kitchenette equipped with fridge, microwave, electric kettle, and simple tableware.

It has a spacious space inside the room with hardwood floor.
Also a small flat screen cable TV with different kinds of channels.
MTV channel is my everyday favourite! Lol

During our first time visit, all furniture inside the room was in wood colour.
They have now renovated the room by painting the furniture in all white.
It looks nicer than before, yet the furniture still look a bit old.

The bathroom.
One thing to be highlighted about the room is it has a very strong water pressure!
Trust me, you will want to take the shower day and night, especially the hot weather in Bangkok can easily drive you crazy.

The view from my room, definitely not the good one.
If you can get the view of the swimming pool, I think would be much better!

After the room review, let's move on to the facilities and locations.

The hotel has a big space at the lobby with all well-maintained furniture.

The lobby always full of people because it is so comfortable after a long day walk.

The hotel also provides drinks all day long.
Ice-water, tea, or coffee, up to your choices!

Sitting at the lobby with a cold drink and nice scenery, just syok!

The hotel also has a beautiful outdoor lobby.

Nice decorations outside the hotel.

Another plus point about this hotel is they have a side entrance which makes it easily accessible to 7-11, just located at the right side of the side entrance.

Centra Point has all the standard facilities that the other hotels offer.

Swimming pool is a must for me during the long holiday.
I swim every morning before the day starts.
It is a salt swimming pool, so don't freak out if it is your first time (like me lol)

Missed out their gym room because I forgot about my sport shoes.
What a waste!!!

The breakfast restaurant is next to the swimming pool.
Our room rate do not include any breakfast deal as my dad prefer the simple breakfast from outsides.

When you walk out from the main entrance, there is a good and clean massage place just right opposite the hotel.
It only costs RM20 for 1 hour foot massage.
It's near! It's cheap! That's why it has triggered my addiction to have at least one massage every single day when I was in Bangkok :D

Outside of the hotel.

The hotel is only 2 minutes walk to the Shibuya mall, where you can get the McDonald (pork burger!) and Starbucks.

1 minute walk from Shibuya mall to the morning market where you can also get some street foods from here.

One of the best thing to stay at Centre Point Hotel is the wholesales Platinum mall is just about 10 minutes walking distance from the hotel by crossing over a bridge.

Overall, we have a pleasant stay at Centre Point Hotel.
Despite of the furniture in the room is a bit old, I think the location, staffs, services and facilities from this hotel have win them all!

My Ratings:
Rooms: 7/10
Facilities: 8.5/10
Locations: 9.5/10
Staff friendliness: 9/10

Music Talks @ Standing Egg 스탠딩 에그

Hello August!
I just came back from Bangkok last Sunday.
The trip was awesome with lots of delicious food, good massages, and heaven shopping!
I will update my blog with the hotel I stayed this time, and all the food I had during my stayed.
So stay tune ya!

And for today, I would just do a short catch up with the current musics that I have been keeping my eyes since last 2 months.

STANDING EGG 스탠딩 에그
I have been searching who is the band since I first in touch with their musics
Unlike the Urban Zakapa and Bbahn from my previous post with very less information can get from the internet.
Glad that at least I know whom I am listening to from the Standing Egg. Lol.

Standing Egg is an indie mixed band from South Korea.
The band consists of 3 members.
It's very cute that they named themselves as Egg 1, Egg 2 and Egg 3.

Egg #1
Clover 클로버
Vocal and guitar

Egg #2
Han Kyul 한결
Double bass

Egg #3
Hana 하나
Djembe

Standing Egg's music is different with those K-Pop, with no heavy beats.
They play their own instruments and write their own songs.
What I like about this band is their musics are with soft and comfortable melodies.
If you love soft musics like ballad or acoustics types, I am sure you will fall in love with their musics too!

Despite the musics they played, I also like their how they designed each of their albums.
Simple, neat cute and clean.

P/S Picture taken from Google searched :)

Anyway, I have picked up 3 of my favourite songs among all their albums

#1 Once again with 한소현

# 2 Sunlight is painful.

#3 Say that you love

I hope these musics can fill you with warmth and happiness.
Have a good weekend!

GO CHELSEA!

Time flies too fast.
Today comes the 21 days in July, and it is also my second post in July!
Sorry that my mind stuck too much with my works everyday, no inspiration to write anything.
I guess this shall be my last post in July because I am flying off to Bangkok next week with my parents.
Yes, finally a long holiday for me to refresh before stepping into the second half year.

Today, I am gonna blog about one of the visit I did during my stay in London.
I supposed to post this up during the FIFA world cup, yet too bad no time to collate the information and pictures I have in my drive.
So, what makes my today's post related to FIFA?!
It's actually the CHELSEA stadium and museum tour in London!
Before I traveled to London, I was told by my friend that I should visit one of the football museum in UK even if you are not football fans.
Since people said so, I decided to take half day from my trip to visit it.

We took the early subway to the downtown.
Took us about 45 minutes to arrive our destination.

It was a long Q to get the ticket when we arrived in early morning, but lucky we booked the ticket in advance online.
Thanks to Zayz for the perfect arrangement!
The entry cost £17 for adults, with the fully guided tour last about 1 hour.

Let's follow me to support the Chelsea!

It was a big place with big green field, and a big auditorium!
Blue and green look so perfect together in the whole place.

It was amazed by seeing such big field in person, where I usually only can see it on TV. LoL!

Along the way from here, I will bring you to visit various stands inside the stadium!

The first stand is the press room.
This is where the players meet up with the reporters for all kind interviews.

The wardrobe with different jersey is their home & away dressing room.

The resting area for the players.

Gym room.

Bathroom.

After that, the guide lead us to the tunnel and dug out area.
This is where the players get ready and run out to the big field for the matches.

Ready...Get Set...Go!!!

The whole trip was real fun!

He is the leader who showed us around the stadium.
My face look damn nervous when my friend asked me to take a picture with him..Haha!
He is such a shy, but cute and tall British guy!

I bought a Chelsea cap after the stadium visit, as a small token of support for Chelsea!

After that, we also spent sometimes to walk around the museum.

If you are one of the Chelsea fans, I am sure you will want to spend your whole day here.
So much of the Chelsea information are available in here.

Met these little kids with their jersey on!
They are very shy indeed when taking this picture with me! Haha!

It is such a big place to hang out.
£17 is totally worth for the visit once in your life time!

Thanks for such a fun, informative and unforgettable experience!

I am glad that I made a decision to visit here even though I am not a truly football fans because this tour is truly a memorable experience in my life.

GO GO GO CHELSEA!!!
