It's me again!
Today, I'm going to blog about the hotel that I stayed during my recent Seoul trip.
I received messages from many of you asking me where to stay in Seoul is the best; well actually it's very difficult to decide where to stay in Seoul since there are so many choices outthere, like Gangnam, Hongdae, Myeongdong, Dongdaemun, Itaewon etc.
The different neighborhoods cater to different groups of travelers, so it's really depends on your priorities and interests in order to pick the most convenient location for yourself.
But, if shopping and food are your main purposes for coming to Seoul for your holiday, then I will recommend you to stay in Myeongdong.
Myeongdong is a one-stop shopping destination for all your needs as this area are packed with many international fashion brands, department stores like Lotte, local fashion boutiques, and also cosmetic shops.
There are a lot of eateries in Myeongdong too, from Korean, Western to Japanese dining restaurants, and then fast food chains, and also a lot of street food carts along the area.
I'm glad that I found this hotel called Nine Tree Premier Hotel Myeongdong 2 in Myeongdong, which I will be sharing with you all in this post!





Apparently, there's Nine Tree Premier Hotel Myeongdong 2 and also Nine Tree Hotel Myeongdong located around Myeongdong area.
For the Nine Tree Hotel Myeongdong, it is located right in the heart of the Myeongdong shopping district, while Nine Tree Premier Hotel Myeongdong 2 is strategically located about 5 minutes walk from Myeongdong.

LOCATION

The hotel is within walking distance to subway station, bus stop and Myeongdong shopping district in less than 10 minutes slow walk (For me, I think I only spent 5 minutes).
The subway station that nearest to the hotel is Euljiro 3-Ga, which is just 8 stations away to Hongik University Station (Hongdae).
Furthermore, this hotel also has easy access to many cafes such as Starbucks, Paris Baguette, local coffee shops as well as authentic Korean restaurants.



For myself, I always think the best way to travel to the airport in Seoul is by their Incheon Airport Bus as this would be the convenient and cheapest way that only cost 15,000 won (about RM56) for one way.
I don't really like to take subway to the airport because it will be too much of hassle especially when I had one big luggage and a small hand carry with me.
Bus route to Incheon Airport from Myeongdong Station is No. 6015, and you don't have to wait for too long because the bus comes in every 8 - 12 minutes.



Another good thing about this hotel is there is a GS convenient store located inside the hotel, which is near to the lift.
Since I was there during winter time, the weather was really cold, especially at night time; so this is very convenient for me during my stay when the weather is zero degrees outside.

THE RECEPTIONIST

The receptionists are very friendly and helpful.
The check-in and check-out process was quick and easy, which just took about 10 minutes upon my arrival.
I always don't like to wait too long at the receptionist.

THE ROOM

I stayed in the Standard Twin Room during my trip and I really love it!
The room is about 26 square meters across, well-equipped with 2 comfortable single beds. a bathroom with bathtub, a work desk, and also a mini lounge area.
The bed is so comfy and warm till I'm struggling to get out of bed in the morning. #lol

There is also a minibar with refrigerator, and also complimentary water, instant coffee and tea inside the room.




A huge bathroom with separate bathtub, rain shower, bathroom amenities, include basic toiletries, bathrobes, towels, and also hair dryer.



Oh ya! There is free WiFi in all rooms.
Also, there is a portable WiFi (Korean usually called it as WiFi egg) that you can rent from the hotel.
The device can be connected to multiple devices, up to 5 devices, and also the WiFi service is unlimited everywhere in South Korea.
The rental fee is about KRW5,500, included tax for one day.

THE KITCHEN 9

Located at 2nd floor, The Kitchen 9 offers the "Mediterranean Cuisine" with variety of choices and fresh ingredients to the guests.
The breakfast served at the restaurant was sufficient enough to start your day. :)

FITNESS AND LAUNDRY

Fitness room is located at 18th floor, which is very spacious and clean.
Besides, there is also a laundry room located at basement.
It offers coin-operated dryer, washing machine and also a vending machine for purchasing the washing powder.

LOUNGE 9

Lounge 9, located at 18th floor, is where you can enjoy beautiful night view of Seoul with laid-back atmosphere.
The room has 50" LED TV, comfortable lounge chairs to chill with your friends and families, high-speed Internet, water purifier with ice, and also free-flow fully automatic coffee machine from 7am till 11pm.



Right next to Lounge 9, there is also a Rooftop Garden where you can enjoy various cocktails and draft beer with sophisticated music while appreciating the beautiful scenery of downtown in Seoul.





Overall, I had a very good stay at Nine Tree Premier Hotel Myeongdong 2.
I'm actually quite a picky person when it comes to choosing accommodations while traveling abroad.
I always look for convenient, comfortability and affordability.
I really enjoyed my stayed at Nine Tree Premier Hotel Myeongdong 2 as I can travel freely without any worries.
I know staying in Myeongdong district itself would be the wisest choice, but I really do not like the hassle and buzz of the heavy human traffic around that area.
When resting, I prefer to have some peace and quiet times; so this hotel consider a good one for me since it's just less than 10 minutes slow walk to the district, and I could also avoid the humans crowd when traveling to my favourite shopping district in Myeongdong.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.
