Kleenex® @ 3-Ply Scented Facial Tissues

Do you think that a good scent can make you happier, get more attention from the others, and even help you to distress?
It is obvious to me because fragrance plays an important role in my daily life and I will never walk out my room without a little drops on me.
Besides that, I also have a habit of putting air spray or essential oils to keep my room smelling good all time.
If you feel the same way I do, there is an exciting new product for you today to have around your home and office or even carry around in your purse!

Kleenex®, is the world’s no 1 facial tissue which offers superior softness facial and bath tissues for all skin types.
Every sheet is made from 100% pure fiber as well as their product is not only for skin cleansing, but also gentle caring and finest hygiene for you and your family.
All products come in variety of attractive and convenient packaging ways which able to distinctive their ideal of softness, strength and absorbency.

Some people may overlook the power of scent, hence Kleenex® would like to offer Malaysians a new way to enjoy it’s softness facial tissues by introducing it’s first Kleenex® 3-ply scented facial tissues with 2 kinds infusion which are Rose Essential Oil and Cherry Blossom.
Kleenex® believes their new product will delight and uplift the users' experience.

Mr Raman Tarun, the marketing director of Kimberly-Clark Malaysia trusts that by pairing the scents of rose and cherry blossom with the well-known softness of Kleenex® facial tissues, they have created a multi-sensorial partnership to bring positive influence that can have an enriching impact on our everyday lives and relationships.

Furthermore, Professor Charles Spence, who is an expert in multi-sensory experiences in Oxford University finds that fragrances can influence how people relate to something they feel.
Based on his research, the participants revealed a piece of fabric with lemon scent is much softer than a piece with animal-like odor, although both fabrics are practically from a same piece of material.
Another expert and author, Jane C Anderson, also stresses that smell is the most impact and lingering of all the senses.

It is difficult to choose one over another since I like both scents.
The Cherry Blossom has lighter smell, which is more pureness and calming; while Rose Essential Oil has a deep rosey smell, which is more pungent and boosting.
If I'll have to pick, I probably will go with the cherry blossom as I prefer lighter smell.

The new Kleenex® 3-ply scented facial tissues in a box packs are:
RM10.30 for four packs of 74 sheets
RM14.55 for four packs of 114 sheets
For soft packs version, it is RM5.35 for four packs of 46 sheets

I made my own sandwich @ O'briens Irish Sandwich Cafe

I remember the last time I made sandwiches was during my life in the university when I was working at the dining hall which located inside the campus center.
It was an interesting working experience for me without a doubt because that's the place where I learnt to work in a fast-paced working environment.
Thanks to O'Briens Irish Sandwich for having me on last Sunday, so that I have the chance to recall the memories of working in the kitchen. #hehe

I believe you all must know about O'Briens, and I also believe you all must seen of the outlets everywhere in the city.
To make it short, O'Briens is an life-style Irish sandwich chain cafe, founded in 1988 by Brody Sweeny in Dublin, Ireland.
It has been been expanded to over 200 stores worldwide, whereby they now have 21 outlets in Malaysia which easily accessible to anyone who is looking for a healthy wholesome meal.
However, do you know what actually makes O'Briens so special than the other sandwich cafes?

#1 O'Briens outlets are all design with the latest trend directly from Ireland whereby you can have the chance to experience the Irish cafe style without flying all the way there.

#2 Their breads are baked with special formulated Irish recipe; for example their Focaccia bread is made in the shape of Shamrock which is the epitome of Ireland and represent good luck.

#3 O'Briens believe everyone of us should deserve freshness and finest ingredients; hence, all their sandwiches are using premium ingredients such as chunky tuna in brine, smoked chicken slice and top-notch quality beef.

#4 They even have the sauces which only available at O'Briens with their in-house Irish recipe.

#5 All coffee are freshly grounded and brewed in the style of Italian master roaster with two premium coffee beans which are Arabica and Robusta.

#6 The juices are freshly made at O'Briens whereby it will help retain the nutrients in the juices even though after long hours exposure.

After knowing more regarding O'Briens, it's time for me to make my own sandwich!

O'Briens has 7 breads in the menu which are white bread, wholemeal bread, wholemeal Shambo (in-house specialty, with Irish Shambo shape), facaccia Shambo (for herb lovers), ciabatta (Italian style), multi-grain (high in complex), wrappo (good for diet).
I go with the facaccia Shambo as I wanted to try their in-house specialty.

There are loads of main fillings at the bar with egg mayo, plain chicken, chicken mayo, chicken slice, chicken crisp, chicken sausage, mild spicy herbs, volcanic chicken, piri-piri chicken, turkey, beef, plain tuna, tuna mayo, and smoke salmon.
I like beef so I decided to give a try their premium beef as well as their special chicken crisp which only available at O'Briens.
I strongly suggest you to add an extra chicken crisp as it make the sandwich more crunchy and crispy.

O'Briens has quite a few varieties of cheese too which are cheddar, swiss, mozzarella. brie, feta and parmesan.
Once I decided mozzarella cheese to use on my sandwich, then it is ready to be in the oven.

Oppps! Look at my face of "what to do next"? #lol

#lol After the sandwich is out from the oven, you need the salads to pair with your sandwich.
To avoid the decidophobia of selecting total 18 salads (mixed peppers, roasted peppers, red onion, sweetcorn, black olives, croutons, pine nut, walnut, tomato, cucumber, lettuce, lollo rosa, lollo bionda, watercress, sundried, roasted brinjal, roasted zucchini, and coselaw) that on the bar, I had a simple choices of Lollo Bionda, tomatoes, and red onion.

O'Briens has 10 sauces which are uniquely prepared at their own; basil pesto, cream cheese, honey mustard, aran island, ballymaloe, ceasar dressing, Italian, cranberry, guacamole (made from fresh avocado), and houmous.
Mustard is always my favourite, hence I choose honey mustard for my sandwich before cutting it into half.

During the process of making the sandwich, I realized that O'Briens is not only careful in delivering the right ingredients, but also the food presentation.
Look how precise of each ingredient is stuffing inside the bread!

Tadaa! I am ready to serve my "Beef Sandwich"!

I like the bread which gives softer, fluffier texture, and the filling inside is ensuring that every bite is equally delicious!
Yummylicious is overloaded!

You can create your own sandwich at O'briens too by choosing 1 bread + 1 main filling + 3 salads + sauce @ RM13.90 only.
Besides the fresh made sandwiches, O'Briens also offer salads, wrappos, soups, freshly squeezed juices, refreshing smoothies, gourmet coffees, cakes, Irish snacks and outside catering platters.

Once again, thanks to O'Briens and Seeties.me for creating such creative, fun and exciting workshop!
I truly enjoy all the moments of that day!

Toridoki 鶏鬨 @ Desa Sri Hartamas

Before I flew off to Turkey, I had my first dining experience at a brand new Japanese Yakitori restaurant which just opened in July this year.
Toridoki located at Desa Sri Hartamas which is the first branch in Malaysia brought all the way from Japan.
Excited huh!

The exterior looks more like a Chinese restaurant rather than a Japanese restaurant, probably because of it's wooden furniture, plus the shop sign has a Chinese word of 鶏鬨. #lol

Upon entering the restaurant, I was greeted with the welcome face and smile by the staffs.
The space is not very big inside the restaurant, but has pretty good arrangement with it's open kitchen as well as 3 different sitting options.

You can choose sitting at the bar, where allowing you to sit comfortably while watching the chef prepare the meal on the grill in front of you.

Perhaps have the booth seating if you come with 4 people?

They even have the common Japanese sitting with the low traditional tables where you sit on pillows on the floor.

After you are seated, a small bowl of Otoshi (appetizer of the day) will be served.
This appetizer is free of charge and will change from time to time so that the customer will not get bored each time they visit.
The Otoshi of that day was Yasai Shirae which cover a bit of mushroom, spinach and broccoli along with their homemade peanut dressing.

I personally like this Konsai Salad @ RM18 very much!
It's a mixed root vegetables salad with roasted lotus root, sweet potato, pumpkin, carrots, broccoli and topped with mayonnaise and shredded cheese!
Yummylicious overloaded!

Do you like Yam? If you do, then Nagaimo Garlic Butter @ RM12 is for you!
It is a deep fried Japanese Yam with garlic and butter which has a very crispy and crunchy texture.

They named this deep fried chicken wing as Teba Age @ RM10
A set includes 2 piece of chicken wings with the well marinated sweet and spicy sauce and sprinkled in sesame seeds.

Toridoki is specialized in Yakitori.
Yakitori means grilled chicken skewers made in bite sized pieces of meat from all different parts of chickens such as chicken breast, thigh, skin, liver and other innards.
Toridoki (from left) @ RM8, is the chicken thigh and breast wrapped in skin, which is their most popular dish.
Negima @ RM5, is the chicken thigh and Japanese leek.
Tsukune @ RM11. is one of my favourite. They blend different parts of chicken meat and marinated with sweet sauce which makes it like a sausage.

Sunagimo Ahijyo @ RM18 is chicken gizzard that served on hot plate with different kinds of vegetables like lady fingers, tomatoes, garlic and onions.
It also served with toasted french loaf as a side dish for you to dip with the olive oil from the hot plate.
If you do not enjoy the innards, you probably can consider to skip this from your order list.

Another signature from Toridoki is the Maruyaki @ RM45, which is a grilled whole chicken.
You can dip the meat with 3 different sauces which are ponzu sauce, chili sauce, and salt.
One of the greatest point about this dish is all chicken are served in fresh as they will not keep the chicken overnight, and therefore they only roast about 6-8 chicken everyday to avoid any wastage.

If you have the same worry like me, not sure how to cut the whole chicken?
No worries, the staff will solve your concern right away!
Oh ya, please do allow 45 minutes to 1 hour for the cooking time, or you can also consider to book it in advance by phone call to save your time.

Cheese Yaki Onigiri @ RM12 is a grilled rice ball that stuffed with Camembert cheese and topped with bonito flakes.
Well, I personally think it is a bit dry compare to the other onigiri that I had before, probably it caused by the hot melted cheese inside.

Couldn't express how happy I was when I know Toridoki do have Tamago.
Dashimaki Tamago @ RM14 is a Japanese omelette which is always my top favourite everywhere.
One good thing about the Tamago at Toridoki is they served it fresh upon your ordering!

Want to end your meal with dessert?
Houjicha Pudding @ RM10 is a must try!
Not so sweet and not so heavy, which is just right for your after meal delight!

At last, if you are looking for some special drink at Toridoki, you probably can go with Hoppy which is a non-alcoholic beverage in Japan that tastes like beer.

Generally speaking, it is a worth try Japanese restaurant for me, especially their special snacks and appetizers like Konsai Salad, Nagaimo Garlic Butter and it's signature of Yakitori!

Hope you enjoy my sharing for today! #withlove
