Bangkok ~ What to eat @ Asiatique & Central World

Today, the #2 foodporn post in Bangkok!
I realized Bangkok has too many good food, not only the street foods, but you can also get good quality food with reasonable price in the malls.
Yay! Let's start with the one I found at Asiatique!

For people who have been to Bangkok shall familiar with Asiatique the Riverfront.
It is a new night market after the Suan Lum night bazaar closed down.
I personally love this place a lot! It is not only a good shopping spot, but also for sightseeing with the night view.
It is such a cool place to visit in Bangkok!

I came across this Chic Grill Seafood Restaurant during my trip in May.
Me and Lik boy were looking for some seafood restaurant with reasonable price.
We have been walking the whole Asiatique for at least 30 minutes and finally found this local restaurant at District 6 which is the food circus.

There are tons of restaurants inside Asiatique, but mostly are like Western and Japanese food.
The prices from those restaurants are quite expensive, and that's why Chic Grill Seafood restaurant will continue to be my first choice when I come here again.

We ordered the must order Seafood TomYam clear soup.
It is very spicy indeed!

I am a squid lover, so I insist to order fried squid although my parents don't like it at all. Lol!

Very big and fresh clams. This is very super yummy!

My family all love fish, especially my dad!
So, we ordered the sour and spicy steam fish for him :p

We actually wish to order more dishes, but 4 dishes for 4 of us are more than enough.
We have to spare some rooms for the mango stick rice. Hehe!

We have total spent about RM160 for the seafood dinner. Not so bad huh!?!

Before we heading back to our hotel, we found the famous Mango Tango dessert shop.

I always wanna try this after so many people blogged about it.
Glad that I can find it at the riverfront!

I am mango lover!
Since Thailand has so many mango dessert, I think I might consider to migrate to here. Lol!

Mango Aloha @ THB75 which is like a jelly with sago type.

2-1 Mango Tango @ THB 140 which includes fresh mango, mango pudding and mango ice-cream.

The dessert shop has non-stop guests coming in.
I think one of their strengths is they have a creativity menu with just the mango!
To be honest, I think the desserts are so so only.
Plus, the staffs are quite rude, and they forced us to order at least 2 dessert for 4 person. :(

I always feel impressed when I see the big wheel at Asiatique, especially standing in front of it!
It is so close, so near to me!
Maybe that's one of the reason why I so in love with this bazaar. Hehe!

On the next day, we had dinner at Central World.
We found an authentic Thai restaurant, Phan-Khom Thai Cuisine located the highest floor (same floor as cinema).

With my pretty mummy.

My cool daddy and my handsome brother.

We ordered the steamed fish curry, shrimp, and squid in coconut source.
It cost THB 185.

The waitress recommended us the PhanKom pork baby spareribs simmered with homemade special source. which only THB155.
Taste superb!

Lastly, we ordered the steamed baby corn wrapped with minced pork and glass vermicelli @ THB 125.

We ordered only 3 dishes because we would want to go for another round dessert.
We paid total THB770 (+/-RM80) includes all dishes, drinks and taxes.
We think it is quite reasonable for the food quality as well as the location.

Can't stop myself giving big thumbs up for Phan-Khom!

After dinner, we went to a well-known dessert shop, After You Dessert Cafe.
This cafe is located at the same floor as all the eateries and right opposite the cinema.
When I was there in May, we couldn't get in because it was a super long Q.

There are so many choices till I have to ask the waitress to recommend us the best one.
Their best seller Nutella Toast which is super duper very good. 简直就是好吃到流鼻血!

It comes with big and small portion and I choose the small one since we just finished our dinner.

And the Banana Pancake. I think this is just so so only because the pancake taste a bit dry with the banana. But, glad that the whole thing mix with the vanilla ice-cream.

There are more than one pancake flavor in their menu.
So please pick another one if you are not a banana fans :p

It is a very small cafe but always crowded.

I came here before 9pm, and that's the time we can easily get a seat.
But the cafe was full and with long q right after 930pm-10pm!

I will definitely come back again and again for their toast in different flavors!

That's all for today!
Gotta do some packing for my coming Melbourne trip and get some beauty sleep now!
Hope you like the post for today!
