It's been a month since we got the second Covid lockdown in Malaysia.

I believe we all are trying to get used to a new normal, such as handwashing, social distancing, wearing masks, avoid going to crowded places etc.

It takes time to adapt to the new normal, especially me who must visit the facial and hair saloon for at least once a month to pamper my skin and hair.

Ever since the Covid outbreak that happened last year, I stopped getting facials and hair cuts at the saloons to keep my distance to protect myself and my families. 

It's already been more than a year I've been focusing on pampering skin at home; not only elevated my at-home facial routine, I also added extra products and tools to make sure my skin is smoother and softer all time at home. 

And recently, I came across a new brand, Comfort Zone, a professional skin care brand founded in 1996 in Italy.

I've been using one of the star products, Sublime Skin Lift & Firm Ampoule for 7 days, and very excited to share with you guys about my personal review and experience about it.

Comfort Zone Sublime Skin Lift & Firm Ampoule is an anti-aging concentrate with anti-wrinkles peptide, Growth Factors (EGFs) and macro Hyaluronic Acid to give skin fuller and smoother, and makes wrinkles less visible.

This intensive cosmetic treatment has done the clinical tests by an independent laboratory, panel of 20 people aged between 40-60, with the positive result of:

- 100% of women report that their skin looks smoother, firmer and fuller.

- 90% of women report that their skin is firmer and that surface wrinkles and expression lines are less visible. 

The ampoule is made of 99.5% natural-origin ingredients which includes 3 active ingredients:

1. Macro Hyaluronic Acid: a well known ingredient used in skin care treatments to moisturize the skin and provide an immediate firming and lifting effect

2. Acetyl Hexapeptide 1: a biomimetic peptide scientifically designed to mimic the action of botox by inhibiting muscle contraction mechanisms. This effect results in the relaxation of surface wrinkles, which are reduced in both volume and depth

3. Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF): this plant-based protein promotes skin regeneration and the synthesis of extracellular matrix components responsible for the fullness and tone of the face. It stimulates the natural production of hyaluronic acid, collagen and elastin, which significantly increase skin elasticity. 

Besides, the product also has a pH within the range of 5-6, free from silicones, ethoxylates, EDTA, acrylates as well as synthetic fragrance. 

As for the packaging, Comfort Zone also pays attention on their packaging, which made with carbon-neutral and designed to be easily recycles; sugarcane-based plastic tubes and labels, recycled plastic bottles, glass jars and recycled paper box.

The recycled paper box is in blue colour; inside is a folded two-cardboard containing product usage on one side, and 7 glass ampoules and an opener on the other side.

A minimalist packaging without any fancy design that customers get instant product information.

Each ampoule contains a 2ml clear fluid and has been melted to seal them.

The glass bottle has a transparent label on the front showing the name of the product. 

The ampoule comes with fluid texture that absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy feeling on the skin.

The texture is not sticky and oily, which is perfect for layering under the rest of your skin care products. 

As it mentioned above that the content is made with no scent added, so it's safe to use that will not irritate or congest your skin.

Step 1: Place the drop counter on the head of the vial

Step 2: With a firm movement, open the vial by breaking it at the level of the pre-breaking ring

Step 3: Remove the broken part and position the drop counter on the neck of the open vial

Step 4: Exert light pressure on the drop counter to release half of its contents onto the palm of your hand

Step 5: Dab the product on your cleansed face, neck and chest until fully absorbed, then apply your regular serum and cream

Step 6: Place the vial back upright and place the cap on the drop counter, ready for the next application

Repeat the same application method in the morning, and remember to avoid contact with the eyes. 

First of all, let's talk about opening a glass of ampoule.

I had bad experience when opening an ampoule as I had cut my fingers so many times.

And glad that Comfort Zone ampoules are easy to open as they provide the drop counter to break the bottle and also use it to dispense the liquid.

After using for 7 days, I use it morning and night and I would said this product so far has been great without giving my face any bad reactions.

The oil ampoule is lightweight, non-sticky, which absorbs quickly into the skin, helps my skin turned smooth, tight and healthy.

I can see some improvements in my skin with the "before and after" pictures I took; I think the ampoule works pretty well for tighten my jawline and chin, you can see both sides of my face is somehow uplifted compare to before. 

Well, ampoule works well for firming up my sagging skin too as I also find that my overall face shape looks slightly smaller too #hehe 

Understand that the ampoules are not cheap, so I use more than one dose per ampoule.

I could use at least 3 doses per ampoule which able to get full facial coverage as well as my neck.

Overall, I'm happy with the current result after using it for a week, and I will continue to use the remaining bottles I have, and hopefully it gives me more surprises! :)
