I moved to Kajang one year ago; ever since then, I always look for a new place to hangout in Kajang area, no matter it's a cafe, restaurant or a shopping mall.
As now, me and Lik usually very busy driving here and there during the weekdays, so when it comes to weekends, we prefer to stay back in Kajang to take our mind off the traffic stresses.
We like relaxing weekends in Kajang!
So excited to know that there is a new shopping mall, De Centrum Mall has just opened at the De Centrum City in Kajang!
The mall is less than 10km from our house! #ohyea!





The neighbourhood retail hub, De Centrum Mall is launched by the Protasco Bhd.
The shopping mall provides a 3-level mall and retails shops with over 120 lifestyle stores spread over more than 160,000 sq ft.
The mall not only provides an ultimate shopping experiences, at the same time it also pampers your taste buds with variety of F&B outlets too!



Congratulations to De Centrum Mall grand opening!
The ceremony on that day started with the ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the grand opening of the mall.



Followed by the lions dance performance to wish De Centrum Mall a good luck in the future.





The mall might not be a high-end shopping complex, but it is suitable for the whole family as the brand it carries in the complex is family oriented.
There are ample parking at the mall, with no parking charges at this moment yet.



For groceries, visitors can pop into the Super Seven Cash & Carry Grocery Store or make a quick one at the 7-Eleven.



Mr. DIY, always my favourite place to shop when I want to make some DIY for my home sweet home. :)

1957 Kopi + Makan is one of the famous cafes in Kajang that offers Malaysian rice and noodle dishes, Western food, and all-day-long breakfast.
It's a relaxing place where you can enjoy dining with your friends and families.
Besides the cafe, there are also fast food chains like KFC, and Pizza Hut available inside the mall too.



For the 1st time in Malaysia, there is a special Dinosaur Show featuring a T-Rex and Triceratops animation on the grand opening too!





On the first floor, other than the Raw House Gym, which caters with fitness equipment, there is also SPP Bookstore which provides children with the text books and stationery supplies they need for school.



Glad to join the grand opening of the SPP Bookstore on the same day as well. :)

Kids and parents can stay at SPP Bookstore for the whole day because the book store is very big with at least 4 concept stores combine together.
I believe kids will like walking into the bookstore and pick their favourite books to bring back home!





Furthermore, Protasco Bhd will be opening a 3-star hotel, Park Inn by Radisson, in 2020 in De Centrum city, Kajang too.
It is a brand within the US Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group's stable, which includes Radisson and Park Plaza brands.
The hotel will boost a rooftop swimming pool, and lounge, gymnasium, all day dining cafeteria, and a Chinese restaurant.
The purpose of the hotel is to cater the growing segment of business travellers in the area and families visiting students of the nearby universities.

Do drop by if you passing by Kajang or when you want to get out of the busy city and get a decent mall to visit.
Well, Kajang might consider a small town for some people, yet it can be a worth while place to visit, especially the well-known Kajang Satay!
