I am a huge fans of essential oils.

I remember I first started using essential oils was about 8 years ago, when my best friend, Kay introduced the Lavender oil to me.

The first time I smelled it from the little bottle, I fall in love right away because of the scent is so calming and soothing that makes me feel soooo good. 

Then I slowly invested different types of oils according to my needs; for instance, when I had acnes popping up on my skin, I like to use tea tree as it helps to reduce the redness, I use peppermint oil to treat headache, muscle joints and joint pain if I had any, and I also use orange and lemon essential oils to diffuse our home everyday because me and my family love how these scents help to refresh our space and we somehow find the lemon oils can promote feelings of motivation. :)

There are indeed many benefits about the essential oils and how the oils can be used in different ways to incorporate in our lifestyle, that's the reason why I would invest my time and money to explore the scents and uses of different oils.

To be honest, I've tried quite a few brands before, either locally made or imported, and I'm excited to hear that one of my fav brand, MELILEA has recently came out their own essential oils series.

MELILEA Lavender oil has a very nice floral smell with good calming effect, helps me to relax my mind and also reduce the feelings of anxiety, and that's why I like to diffuse it when I need to "juice" my brain out for an article. #hehe

I introduced the Lavender oil to my mum and sis because they have sleeping problem, and I'm very glad that the product not only help them fall asleep, but also improve the overall quality rest.

In case you don't know about it...Lavender oil has many healing properties as it has a cooling effect to help support the healing process, such as decreasing the pain, swelling, redness associated with bug bites or other itchy skin issues, and also minor burn symptoms.

Frankincense Essential Oil @ RM242.00 (15ml) is made from the dried and distilled resin of the Boswellia tree, which typically grows in the dry, mountainous regions of Africa, and the Middle East.

In ancient, Frankincense was well recognized as the king of oils, because it was used as an incense in religious ceremonies and in cosmetics. 

Nowadays, Frankincense oil is mainly used in skincare, helps to rejuvenate skin, and promotes skin health.

When I first know about essential oils, I was introduced that Frankincense is the "king" of all essential oils as this oil provides many benefits; from beautifying, aromatic to healthiness to improve everyday lifestyle. 

Since Frankincense oil contains properties that help revitalize and beautify the skin, I like to add a drop of Frankincense into my face moisturizer and then massage to my skin to have extra boost to my skin's radiance.

When I have muscles or joints pain, Frankincense oil is best to use to release the pain and discomfort on my neck and body. 

Well, I enjoy MELILEA Frankincense oil as it smell so earthy and woody, but at the same time also very soft and citrusy, so it is very suitable to be used as an essential oil in a diffuser; me and Lik like to diffuse our living with this oil so that the room is full of a warm and peaceful aroma, especially when we spent our Saturday night at home for a movie. :)
