Last week was a busy yet fun week.
Had a food commercial shooting day with a new team on Wednesday, it was really fun, I can't wait to share it with you guys the final production. #hehe
And then went to Melaka for a one day trip with my girls, Cinda and Reiko.
I enjoyed to have a road trip with friends, coz I think road trip is a great way to spend time together doing things you love, chatting, having fun with each other, and creating memories.
It's our first trip together, and I hope we could do that more often in the future. :)
So, we started our journey very early in the morning, and then stopped by at a newly opened bubble tea house to chill a bit before we headed to have lunch.
Well, all of us know that Malaysians are crazy about bubble teas, there are so many names floating everywhere on social media.
Seriously, I always not too sure which shop to go. :p
Well, I'Milky 沐白小農沐場 has a little bit different with the other bubble teas in the market.
Why? They mainly use FRESH MILK to prepare their wide range of beverages!

Well, last weekend, I paid a visit to a new restaurant located at Plaza Arkadia.

As a bubble tea lover, I am very excited to visit the newly opened HOLIM Giant Tea during the weekend.
HOLIM is a new beverage brand that was born in Malaysia just about a month ago.
All drinks are fully made in Malaysia, with an exceptionally high standard of specialty beverages as well as their freshly made Tapioca Pearls.
The name of "HOLIM" remind me of the Hokkien word (one of the Chinese dialect) of "Good to drink".
HOLIM not only offers milk tea, it also has different series of drinks to offer to the customers such as coffee, chocolate, juices, fruit-flavoured teas and smoothies.
The signature drink from HOLIM is their exclusive homemade brown sugar pearl milk tea, that has a very tasty tea aroma and also a freshly made and chewy bubble itself.

Halo! Any chocolate lovers here?!
I have some fun facts about chocolate that I would like to share with you. :)
#1 The ancient Aztecs in the valley of Mexico believed that cocoa seeds were the gifts of Quetzalcoatl, the god of wisdom.
#2 Cocoa seeds were believed to have magical power, thus harvested and made into drinking liquid, used in sacred rituals, marriage, death and as currency.
#3 Melting chocolate in your mouth increases theta brain waves which trigger relaxation that makes you feel happy.
#4 Eating a small portion of chocolate could improve the brain's ability to do mathematics and have better understanding on information.

In Malaysia, the cafe-hopping craze has been a rising trend in the recent years, with tonnes of unique cafes mushrooming to appease the demands of cafe-goers who live to taste exquisite desserts complemented with premium coffee drinks.
In a way, visiting cafes has evolved to become a way of life, an avenue where people can get together and socialize, another place to sit and do work, or a place to get away from their busy lifestyle.

I love Aiyu Jelly since I was a kid.
I always think Aiyu Jelly is the best cooling drink and dessert for our Malaysia hot weather.
In Malaysia, it's very common to see Aiyu Jelly sold at the night markets because it's one of the best refreshing cold drink to balance the savory night market foods.
However, it's not easy to find good quality of Aiyu Jelly nowadays, because many of them use artificial Aiyu Kelly as their main ingredient that are made of gelatin powder, instead of the fresh ones which provides a range of health benefits.

So, I decided to make a post about the dessert I had in Bangkok.
Since I said I will revisit After You Dessert Cafe again after my first visit, so here comes the second visit.
Just in case you never heard of it before, After You Dessert Cafe is one high-rated cafe to visit in Bangkok; if you searched on google, you will find lots of reviews about it.
It has been around since 2007, and now has expanded to 16 outlets at different locations in Bangkok.
Do check out which outlets near to you when you are in Bangkok, because their desserts can drive you crazy! #hehe





It's my second time visited the outlet at the Central World Plaza.
I wish to visit the outlet at Siam Square on my next visit as I know that branch is much bigger.
The cafe is located at 1st floor, inside the Central World Plaza.
It's very easy to get to the cafe, as long as you go to the cinema area since it locates just right opposite the cinema.
The very eye-catching corner shop gives you a comfortable homie feeling, and I truly adore with the creative interior and atmosphere.



The dessert cafe mainly selling harajuku toast, pancake, kakigori (ice-shaved), biscuits, cakes and coffee.
Normally, people come for their harajuku toast, pancake and kakigori.



I am a big fans of chocolate, so I ordered the Ferrero Toast @ THB195 (small), which is a shibuya toast combined with Ferrero Rocher chocolate, vanilla ice-cream with fresh cream.
It's my second time having the same toast, well it's just too good to have it again and again!
The toast has divided into small cube bite-pieces, so it's easy for sharing.

Well, I think I am one of them.
I always believe no matter how much you eat, there is always a room for dessert.
Dessert makes you happier and put you in a good mood.
If you are one of the dessert lover, then you shouldn't missed out this post because today I'll be blogging about a brand new dessert cafe that I've visited in 1 week ago, .

Tayiyaki also comes with the filling of ice-cream whereby they named it as Taiyaki Ice-Cream.
It has 2 different ice-cream flavours which are Matcha Adzuki and Vanilla Brownies.



Vanilla Brownies @ RM8, with the stuffing of vanilla ice-cream and chips.



Matcha Adzuki @ RM8 with the stuffing of green tea ice-cream and red beans.


Matcha Adzuki Kakigori @ RM17.00.
It has a very rich taste of green tea flavour as the Matcha is imported all the way from Japan.
The shaved ice includes matcha & vanilla ice-cream, red bean, dango, puree and green tea sauce.



If you love a bit sweeter, you can pour the puree that prepared at the side.
I would recommend you to pour a little bit of puree before all.





If you enjoy strawberry flavour, go for the Strawberry Cheesecake Kakigori @ RM21.00.
The thick milk is made from the fresh strawberries and that's why it has a strong strawberry taste.
Comes with fresh strawberry, cheesecake, graham cracker crumbs, strawberry puree and whipped cream.



The price is all worth it with a little bit of surprise of the cheesecake layer at the bottom of the shaved ice. :)



I really enjoyed my dessert moment at the Mykōri Dessert Cafe, not only because of it's friendly environment, but also the generous flavouring desserts that they created.
If you asked about my recommendation of each types, my choices are #1 Strawberry Chocolate Toast, #2 Taiyaki Triple Cheese (but actually Adzuki Red Bean isn't bad also), #3 Match Adzuki and #4 Melon Kakigori.
