I begin wearing contact lens since I was 17.
I have been a loyal user of Freshkon ever since I started wearing colour contact lens at least 10 years ago.
I had always thought of changing to another new brand, yet it is not easy to know if a certain new brand comfort me well.
THANK YOU Bausch + Lomb for their invitation to the launching of their new contact lenses of Lacelle Jewel, a new monthly disposable coloured contact lens in Malaysia.
I am glad to attend this special event and get to know the new contact lens which is now available in the market.



Bausch + Lomb, is an International pharmaceuticals company whom the global leading of the eye heath organization.
It is one of 43 global companies distributing professional and consumer eye health brands such as BioTrue, PureVision, SoftLens, Lacelle, Renu etc.
They mainly focus on protecting, enhancing, and restoring people's eyesight.



The event on that evening was crowded and happening with many local artists, bloggers and special guests.
The whole event was full with PINK, which is also one of my favourite colour when I feel like I wanted to be a sweet girl. #hehe



The event started with an opening speech by Jake Kim, the managing director of Bausch + Lomb Singapore and Malaysia.
He commented that the users have no worries at all with Lacelle Jewel series due to the fact that the lenses contain pigment standards which is authenticated and certified by the FDA implies the safety precaution of ensuring protection to its users.
Also, the lenses are likewise resistance to protein deposits by the eye which makes it safe for application which in turn prevents uneasiness to the eyes towards end of the day.
He has confident that it is one-of-a kind contact lenses that consist of the trends of the youths today and passed the important factor of safety and comfort.



The first performance started with the hip hop dance group by Soul Krazy.
They share their cool and energetic performances with the audiences.



The event then followed by the Lacelle Jewel fashion showcase, leading by the International model, Amber Chia with her other 6 models on the stage.
Each of them introduced the Lacelle Jewel series with varieties of 7 colours to choose from.



Melanite Black, provides a demure look of a temptress that is bound to intrigue. Modest and yet sophisticated.



Topaz Brown is a natural sparkle that makes the eyes pop instinctively. A highly approachable presentation.



Crystal Gray, a colour which gives a mysterious vibe whilst providing an illuminating look. A balance between dramatic and lively.



Amber Brown is friendly and down-to-earth that resonates with a degree of sophistication and elegance. Appears to be stylish and classy with that shimmer.



Amethyst Violet provides a significant glimmer in the eyes with this shade that states playful and feisty. Creating an extravagant impression.



Sapphire Blue is for those who prefer a bolder look who is not afraid to be seen with a crystal sparkle that provides an idealistic personality. Exhibits confidence and tranquility.
 
Peridot Green which blends very well with any skin tone and gives a pleasant glitter in the eye. Aura that reveals rejuvenation.





Not only that, Lacelle Jewel also created a euphoria by having singing performance of celebrity guest artists Atikah Suhaime and Malaysian Charbor Joyce Chu.



In conjunction with the new launching of Lacelle Jewel, Bausch + Lomb will run a charity campaign of Bausch + Lomb Care for Your Eyes from 11th August till 30th Sept 2015.
It is just a simple eye exercise to help to improve your eye focus as well as strengthen your eye muscles.
What you need to do is just upload the video with your eye exercise to your own Facebook Page by #BauschAndLombMalaysia and #careforyoureyes and challenge 3 friends to do the same video.
For every video uploaded, Bausch + Lomb will donate RM5 to the Malaysian Association for the Blind.



Fyi, the latest technology integration in Lacelle Jewel has a unique lens design that enhances the excellent lens centralization.
The design of the Lacelle Jewel darkens and enlarges the iris to portray naturally bigger eyes whereby the result of wearing Lacelle Jewel will make the eyes distinctive and bright, leaving the eyes looking naturally coloured rather than artificial. #soundssorighforme
It has a thin lens design with centre thickness of 0.078mm, which permits great comfort to the contact lens users.
The material has water content of 38% which provides excellent comfort and also minimizes protein uptake from our tears for hygienic and ease of lens wearing.
Plus, these new lenses also have been shown to be non-toxic and non-irritant to the eye as Lacelle practices safe colour additive.



After understood the differences of the 7 colours, I finally made my final decision of choosing the Crystal Gray as I always prefer a more natural look on my eyes!
