Jalan Jalan Japan @ 1 Shamelin Mall, Cheras

It's not easy to save money when you shop.
I always feel guilty when I over spent my money on the goods I bought, especially at the current condition of the economy.
Yea, sometimes, Lik does make a complaint. :)
So, I found another best way to fulfill my shopping desired, which is buying second-hand items at much lower prices.
Shopping second-hand isn't something new for me.
During my university years in Michigan, me and my housemates would always shop at the local second-hand shops without breaking our wallets. :)
Second-hand shopping is such a fun way to find what we need and update; we always went back home with surprises because of the great stuffs we found at the shops.
Furthermore, I also think buying second-hand items is considered green because you are giving the item a brand new life once again.

It was so fun to join the pre-opening shopping experience at Jalan Jalan Japan, located at 1 Shamelin Mall on the last weekend.
This is their second outlet after the first store opened in November 2016 at Sky Park, One City Mall, USJ in Subang Jaya.
The first store was a great success for Jalan Jalan Japan since Malaysian love pre-loved goods and the sales performance is a great encouragement for them to open their second branch.

Japan is a rich nation where people are able to earn high income, but lack of personal storage space.
Since the living space is small which is very different compare to Malaysia, this makes it necessary for the Japanese to sell fairly new stuffs at "Preloved" stores.
"Preloved" concept has become an integral part of Japanese culture, therefore Jalan Jalan Japan believes that the world can be a better place if the products they owned can be loved by others.
Regardless of your budget, you will always get more at Jalan Jalan Japan with pricing starting at RM1 for many items.
Though they all are pre-loved items, the qualities are still much appreciated and everything at the stores are shipped directly from Japan.

Everything at Jalan Jalan Japan is very neat and well organized.
It's just like a department store, except everything here is second-hand.
So now, let me bring you around the store to find the absolute gems at Jalan Jalan Japan. #excitednya
From fashionable clothing, shoes, handbags, households goods, sports equipment, collectible items, baby stuffs, toys, and furniture; spending three hours inside such big store is definitely not enough!

Time to update your wardrobe, ladies!
Find the hottest affordable women apparel, starting as low as RM5, including blouses, skirts, dresses, tops and trousers.

There are a lot of preloved winter clothing on the racks too.
A woman Duffle Coat only costs RM40!

I like to purchase second-hand accessories because it can save my money without sacrificing quality.
New ones always cost more to buy than a second-hand ones.

I always want to own a fordable travel duffel bag like this, so happy that I found one with a very affordable price at just RM40!
I'm gonna bring it with me on my next trip soon!

You'll find what you like from the huge selection of women, men and kid's shoes.

It has a huge selection of men's clothing, including smart and casual outfits.

Check out the sport section with different types of sports equipment.

Soft toys section which fun filled with diverse designs, sizes, colours, shapes at an unbeatable low prices!

Buying used baby clothes is one of the best ways to save money because they are less expensive.
Since babies grow very fast and they usually don't wear the same size after a few months, so preloved baby stuffs might be a good option to save your wallet.

Of course, many of the second-hand furniture and household goods are available at the store too.
Though they were used in Japan, they still look very good in my eyes.
I bought some small wooden plates, at an excellent condition with great price from RM3 to RM6.

Shopping at Jalan Jalan Japan is like going to a treasure hunting.
You will never know what pre-loved wonders you might find.
Get a good look through the entire shop, and score a good deal on the used items.
Indeed, I found a brand new pajamas set, boyfriend shirt and some socks at totally brand new condition at super low price, from RM3 to RM15!

Happy shopping with my girlfriend, Betty!

This is such a great idea. in our school and college days we need so many clothes to wear everyday, and i think this is a very economical way to have more clothes and reduce pollution.
