Hui Lau Shan 许留山 @ 6 Innovative Snowy Mooncakes

Time flies so fast!

This month we are celebrating mid-autumn festival again.
It feels like it was only yesterday I'm eating mooncake with a cup of tea with my families.
Every year, there are many types of mooncakes with different fillings to cater a variety of taste buds, from traditional mooncakes, snowy mooncakes, mini mooncakes, to ice-cream mooncakes etc, sometimes I really wonder what and where to choose from. :)
My favourite type is always the snow skin mooncakes, a non-baked mooncake with a soft and chewy texture.
This year, I'm so excited to try out the new launch of snowy mooncakes from the most popular and famous Hong Kong Handmade Dessert, Hui Lau Shan 许留山.
Yeap! They really have awesome mango desserts in Asia!

For every season and celebrations, Hui Lau Shan will launch different creative items; and this year, they are proud to present their specially made snowy mooncakes for guests to celebrate this Mid-Autumn Festival with family and friends.
Each type of this festival snack is packed in a simple yet colourful box to make it as a delightful Mid-Autumn gift to impress your loved ones.

6 lovely innovative flavours of snow skin mooncakes are the perfect indulgence for everyone, including Muslim friends out there since they are halal certified.
#1 Mango Cheese
#2 Pure Lotus
#3 Pure Red Bean
#4 Oolong Pu'er Tea
#5 Mango Honey Pomelo
#6 Oolong Green Tea
Since snowy mooncakes are not baked, they must be refrigerated before consumption.

Mango Cheese, the filling here is luscious and silky with the taste of mango, yet the taste of cheese was not very pronounced.
Pure Lotus, delicately wrapped in fresh lotus paste and enfolded in tender pinky coloured snow-skin.

Oolong Pu'er Tea, that each bite is so aromatic and refreshing with refined Oolong Pu'er tea leaves, whereby you will surely crave for more! Pure Red Bean, form the natural delicate sweetness and fine texture of fresh red bean paste.

Mango Honey Pomelo, a unique duo of mooncake featuring two types of fruits to create a light and distinctive fruity flavours.
Oolong Green Tea, has a mild matcha fragrance and pair very well with it's specially made of oolong tea paste.

My favourite goes to Oolong Green Tea and Oolong Pu'er Tea flavours, simply because both tastes are not too sweet.
The skins are soft, and the pastes are not too sweet with a light hint of teas aroma.
I ate my slice of mooncake and sipped some tea, definitely a real pleasure-full of flavour delicate taste for this special celebration!
