Texture & Scent

Since it comes from the same family as the Rapid Age Spot Correcting Serum, this Essential-C Day moisturizer also has a very fresh citrus smell when apply it on the skin.

As for the texture, it is not in a creamy or thick formula, yet a bit watery and thin texture; so you will find the texture is not greasy, yet easy to spread and absorb quickly to the skin.

Packaging

The formula is packed in a transparent tube with a white cap on it.

Tube packaging is always very convenient for squeezing product out or carry around with you, however I find this tube packaging is slightly difficult to control the product, maybe it's because the content is quite watery that it spills out to the sides easily.

So, be careful when you open the cap.

How to Use?

After cleansing and toning, massage evenly over face, neck and chest.
Since the moisturizer comes with sun protector factor, you can only apply it everyday in the morning.
Well, you can also first apply an Environmental Shield treatment for better result.

My Experience

My first impressions about these both products are good, in terms of the ingredients, lovely scent, and gentle texture.

They both go well with my combination skin, whereby the texture do not irritate my skin at all, and also absorb quickly into my skin without being too oily or greasy.
I think this is quite important for my skin because I hate to have oily and greasy complexion.

Since my face do not have serious problems with the dark spots problems, I can't see big changes on the spot problems with the Murad Rapid Age Spot Correcting Serum.
However, I can see it helped make my skin tone even out and also brighten up my overall skin condition.

Keep in mind that it's always best to use the product consistently to see the desired result.

On the other hand, the Murad Essential-C Day Moisture Broad Spectrum SPF30 PA+++ is really nice on my skin no matter if I wear it alone or to prep my skin with before makeup.

When I feel like having a simple skincare routine for that day, I will just put on this moisturizer since it comes with sun protection.
I like how it can protect my skin from the sun and also at the same time works well to brighten up my entire complexion, as well as hydrate my skin a long way.
