I'm so excited that one of my favourite skincare brand, Murad had recently launched two new products which are the Vita-C Glycolic Brightening Serum and Vita-C Eyes Dark Circle Corrector, both mainly to give a brighter and healthier looking skin.
I've been testing out these two products for the past 2 weeks, so here's my sharing and personal thoughts that I would like to share with you all today.
What is Murad Vita-C Glycolic Brightening Serum?
Murad Vita-C Glycolic Brightening Serum helps improve the look of hyperpigmentation and uneven tone for dramatically brighter, healthier-looking skin.
It provides antioxidant defense that helps skin absorb gold-stabilized vitamin C formula easier to combat hyperpigmentation, dullness and uneven tone, and also the glycolic acid sloughs away dull skin to enhance vitamin C delivery.
The product has been safety tested with some proven results; for instance, over 70% saw brighter, healthier skin after 1 week, 83% saw brighter, more radiant skin after 4 weeks and 86% saw healthier skin after 4 weeks.

All the ingredients are cruelty-free and gluten-free, and also it is made without parabens and sulfates, no animal-derived ingredients, no mineral oil, no formaldehyde, no oxybenzone and no petrolatum.
Packaging
Murad Vita-C Glycolic Brightening Serum comes in a dual-chamber delivery system to stabilize vitamin C so as to optimize efficacy with a calibrated cartridge that delivers a potent, exact dose every time.
The separate outer chamber minimizes fillers, while the inner airless chamber adds more oxidation defense.
The bottle is in bright orange colour and also comes with a transparent adjusting cap at the top.

Texture & Scent
I personally don't like the skincare products that are too sticky and greasy as I always try to keep my skincare regime as light as possible because I do not want the heavy contents to aggravate my skin.
And this brightening serum comes in a beautiful lightweight and smooth texture, it disperse in every region in my face, I tried it and immediately loved the texture and feel on my face.
It has a nice nude colour, and the product doesn't have any strong scent, just a pleasant welcoming scent that you can feel on your face.

How to Use?
It's easy to apply the serum from the pump bottle, just one push and you will get the sufficient quantity that you need.
So, everytime after cleansing, massage Vita-C Glycolic Brightening Serum over face, neck and chest and then follow with your moisturizer.
You probably will feel a light tingling sensation on your face but this is normal and temporary due to the effect from the ingredients of Glycolic acid in Vita in the brightening serum.
For best result, it's best to use the serum both for day and night time.
What is Murad Vita-C Eyes Dark Circle Corrector?
Murad Vita-C Eyes Dark Circle Corrector is a one-of-a-kind, gold stabilized vitamin-c eye serum that fights the look of dark circles while light-reflecting micro-minerals visibly brighten in as fast as 2 weeks.
It is the biggest challenge presented by traditional vitamin C formulations while targeting the most common eye area, like dark circles, dryness, fine lines and wrinkles.

When I applied it to my skin, it looks almost like my skin colour, which I thought it maybe good for covering up the dark area under my eyes if there is any. :)
The texture is well tolerated; very smooth, lightweight that do not burn or irritated to the skin.
Though it's slightly sticky compare to the brightening serum, it's truly non greasy or sticky at all when it touches on my skin.

It comes in a white dispense bottle like the brightening serum which allows you to dispense the exact amount of cream needed with each application, and therefore you don't overuse or under-use.
However, the dispense bottle doesn't have a cap on the bottle, so you can actually press the bottle and pump the content out of the container right away.

After cleanse your face with face cleanser and pat dry, gently pat the eye serum around the eye area, avoid contact with eyes.
After that, massage Vita-C Glycolic Brightening Serum over face, neck and chest and follow with a moisturizer for night time, and use sunscreen during the day time.
My Experiences
If you followed my beauty regime, I have become obsessed with Murad products ever since I attended their "Beautiful Me Time" workshop back in 2016.
I admired Murad formulation where their recipes are mainly promoting and protecting skin health at the cellular level through an unique and rich mix of anti-inflammatories, antioxidants and hydrators.
So, I was actually very excited when I got to know Murad had come out a new range which mainly work to improve the look of pigmentation and fix for an uneven skin tone.
I started to use both Murad Vita-C Glycolic Brightening Serum and Vita-C Eyes Dark Circle Corrector since 2 weeks ago without skipping a day.
Normally, I apply a small pump, mostly one push from each bottles, in day and night, and I can already see some differences on my skin condition.
What I noticed from my "before and after" pictures, the brightening serum has improved the appearance of my skin, I think it somehow smoothen my skin looks, evened out my skin tone; my skin is brighter, and also it has smoothen out the appearance of some fine lines.
The description said that the brightening serum gives tingly sensation when applying on the skin, yet I only has that "tightness" feeling when my skin was a bit dry, otherwise I actually feel nothing serious about it.
As for the eye areas, I'm lucky that I don't have serious problem with dark circles for all this while, maybe because I usually go to bed pretty early. :)
So, maybe it's not easy to see the differences on my eye areas after using the dark circle corrector, yet if you take a closer look, I notice my eye areas are more brighter and smoother.
Overall, I think my entire complexion are more awake now, and do not look so tired as before.
