Mister Coffee @ Leading's Coffee Roaster in Malaysia (Review)

For those who are following my Instagram (@mizhippo), you guys would have probably known that I'm a coffee person.
Having my daily caffeine fix is an absolute must, otherwise I'm JUST not so myself. #lol
I've never thought that I'd turned into a coffee drinker, as I had a clear sign that my body didn't tolerate caffeine well in 10 years ago; my heart rate rises.
And my coffee drinking habit started since I had my first cup of coffee in Melbourne, at one of the local coffee shop that recommended by my client.
Ever since that cup of hot cappuccino, I'll never quit coffee again.
At first, a cup of coffee works as a simple beverage for me; no matter cold or hot, espresso or cappuccino, non-matters.
Then slowly, I built up a liking towards coffee; I started wondering the origin of the beans, the different varieties in aroma, taste or even aftermath.
Now, I think I'm more than a coffee drinker, I'm a coffee lover!
I even get a coffee maker to brew my cup of joe at home, yea best thing about having a coffee machine at home is that I'm able to try different types of beans.
Not only getting the beans from the racks at the supermarket, I also surfing the net for coffee beans.
I tried a few since MCO periods, and Mister Coffee is one of the local coffee brand that I would like to share with you guys today. :)

Mister Coffee began it's coffee story since 1982.
It is one of the largest family-owned coffee companies, over three-generations in Malaysia, by having more than 30 million cups of coffee passing through their hands every year.
The brand not only ensured every steps taken in roasting their coffee beans which carried out with utmost sincerity, integrity, and the highest quality standards, they also considered the foremost OEM coffee supplier for many other coffee brands in Malaysia.

Mister Coffee supplies the highest quality coffee with its freshness guaranteed.
They have various types of coffee that brewed from their gourmet Arabicas and also Robustus, ranging from the whole bean, roast and ground, following by the coffee filter bags, and also instant coffees.
In addition, all their products are packed with Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP) System by using state-of-the-art machinery from Japan to preserve the aroma of the coffee for a very long period.
The packing technology helps to alter the natural distribution and makeup of atmospheric gases in the coffee to provide the optimal condition to preserve the aroma and the quality of coffee.
By utilizing the technology, they could also control the oxygen residue in the packaging bag, leaving approximately 1% of oxygen content after packing, thus increasing the shelf life and reducing the oxidation of coffee.

A successful coffee blend is a harmonious balance between aromas, body and flavours.
Mister Coffee selects and imports best quality coffee beans from over 25 different countries and regions to create their Unique Coffee Blends and Roast Profiles for the 6 different types of signature espresso blend.
You can purchase whole bean coffee or pre-ground coffee with grind options like extra coarse, coarse, medium, fine, extra fine and turkey fine.
I personally prefer the beans to be extra fine grind because it is so finely ground that it dissolves in the cup. :)

Sometimes when I need something quick, easy, or simply portable, there is always best to have a substitute for freshly roasted and freshly ground coffee.
This Traditional Kopi O is a good fit to get my morning going without dealing with the mess and hassle of grinding the beans and ensuring the water ratio.
It comes in a big bag with 15 individual sachets, and each sachets are individually packed with regular charcoal-roasted beans; the coffee tastes pleasant, and has a good aftertaste.

The coffee bag is packed with ground coffee powder in food grade filter paper, so you do not need to filter your coffee manually, just pour 150-200ml of hot water to brew 3-5 minutes to brew one cup of coffee. .
Well, you may add sugar or milk according to your own preference.
For myself, I always prefer black coffee, and I believe this traditional Kopi O shall surprise you by the comforting taste of the good old days.

Besides, BagBrew is another good solution for coffee drinkers who are looking for convenience without compromising on quality to brew single serve coffee.
The innovative coffee bag allows water to infuse more effectively, hence resulting in getting a clearer and more flavourful cup of single serve coffee.

There are 3 different types of BagBrew coffee flavours, include:

The BagBrew comes in a box, with 10 individual sachets.
Just pour 150ml to 200ml of boiled water over the coffee bag, and then allow the coffee to brew for 3-4 minutes, press and stir the coffee bag to assist the infusion for better coffee quality.
For those who like to have some sweetness to touch up the coffee, you can either add approximately 5-8 gram sugar for black or 25 gram sweetened creamer or milk for white.

I'm surprised by the freshness, flavours and aroma of the Mister beans.
It becomes the perfect place for me to find freshly roasted beans for my daily caffeine fix.
As a coffee drinker, I think it's worth a shot with Mister Coffee, especially they have various type of coffee beans with acceptable price ranges; and  also each variety of coffee has their unique roasting profile that able to create one single great tasting coffee.
The packing of each coffees are also pretty well done, nice and tightly.
Among all the coffee varieties there, I personally like Espresso Super Bar because the coffee has pronounced acidity and great aromatic complexity; I also like the bit of fruity touch on the coffee.
For the next round, I would love to try their country series; each of them look so tempted! :)
Besides, I also like the BagBrew choices which allow me to drink different types of coffee drinks everyday without giving it a second.
