So today, let me share a new facial cleanser, from Simplistic Begin Cleanser imported all the way from Korea that I got it from Wako Beauty, an online retailer that selling variety of trendy and popular skincare products.
Simplistic Skin Care is a new Korean skincare brand in Korea as well as all over the world.
It is an indie Korean cosmetic brand that makes quality skincare products with the highest grade eco-friendly, and EWG safe ingredients to suit any skin types.
Their goal is to help people to improve skin naturally and gradually from within instead of promising quick miracles results to the users.

Simplistic Begin Cleanser
Simplistic Begin Cleanser is a mild gentle cleanser that uses a special formulation of natural surfactants.
All the ingredients are rated 0-2 (safe) on Environmental Working Group's (EWG) and the surfactants in the cleanser are derived from nature and Eco-Cert certified.
The facial cleanser is mainly to deep cleanse pores of bacteria and fine dust without causing irritation, and also moisturize and hydrates while soothing reducing redness and irritation.
It is suitable for all skin types, and works especially well on sensitive skin too.
Ingredients
The facial cleanser is the most ideal cleanser with low pH level at pH 6.0.
It is made of 99% natural and plant-based, organic & eco-friendly ingredients, including:
#1 100% Distilled Eco-Cert certified Cypress Water: the water is 100% naturally diluted Japanese Cyprus water that certified by Eco-cert. It is a soothing ingredient that eliminates bacteria, purifies minute dust and external irritation, and also reduces the chances of acne growth.
#2 100% natural honey: it's the REAL honey, not the honey extract which are known for their antibacterial, antiseptic, healing and soothing properties as well as to keep skin moist but not oily.
#3 Organic Aloe Vera Powder: the anti-inflammatory qualities help alleviate irritation like itchiness, redness, sunburn and dryness. It also encourages skin regeneration too!
#4 Natural surfactants: Sodium Lauryl Glucose Carboxylate (EcoCert), Lauryl Glucoside (EcoCert, non-ionic surfactant from coconut oil, potato starch and corn), Potassium Cocoyl Glycinate (botanical surfactant from coconut extract).
Packaging
The facial cleanser caught my eye with its unique shape and minimalist style.
Loving it so much when I first saw it; the overall packaging looks so classic to place it in the bathroom; it has a simple and clean design, and also the warm woody colour on the bottle matches so well to the brand's concept.
The product comes in an outer brown colour box to make sure the bottle is completely secure inside the box, and also a plastic cap to protect against any spills and leaks.
As for the bottle itself, it also comes in an easy-to-use pump dispenser, which make it less messy to use and also gives me a more hygiene and sanitary feeling.
Well, it also secure the amount you wanted to use each time without any wastages.

Texture & Scent
The cleanser comes in a gel-like texture, with a honey-like colour.
You must add water in order to make it foam before you wash it over your face and your neck.
It is a gel cleanser that has a completely different texture from the light and airy traditional foam cleanser.
Instead, they have a thick gel consistency that provides a smaller amount of foam and a milder cleanse, maybe that's the reason why my skin is feeling less dry or tight after washing my face with the cleanser.
The scent is not strong, very mild, only a light smell of Cypress Water (Hinoki). :)
How to Use?
Use the Simplistic Begin Cleanser in the first step in your skincare routine twice a day, morning and night time before your facial toner.
Step #1: Wet your face with warm water, and add a dollop of cleanser onto your palm
Step #2: Rub your palm together to foam it and apply it onto your face
Step #3: Massage in circular motions until your whole face is covered
Step #4: Continue massaging for 60 seconds and rinse your face thoroughly with lukewarm water
Step #5: Dry your face using a clean facial towel and proceed to the next skincare step
My Experience
I've shared my 4-weeks skincare journey with this Simplistic Begin Cleanser on my IG stories, so here's an overall about my personal experience of using the facial cleanser for a month.
All in all, the cleanser gets the job done pretty well, my skin feels fresh and comfortable, without any irritation everytime after I wash my face.
It's good that just a pea sized amount, and I've got a clean skin afterwards.
First thing I like about the cleanser is because the ingredients they use for the product are organic, EWG safe, and sustainable, and also the formula is moisturizing, natural, fragrance-free, paraben-free and cruelty-free, so it is safe for any skin types, including sensitive skin.
As my skin get more sensitive during certain days of my menstrual cycles, so with this facial cleanser, I don't have to change the cleanser from time to time; it somehow helps to save my time and money. :)
I usually visit facial saloon once a month, but due to the current pandemic in Malaysia, I do not want to take any risks of visiting any saloons.
So with this little helper to be part of my skincare routine, it helps to keep my skin and pores clean.
I used it twice a day, morning and night, and I can see the blackheads and whiteheads are less noticeable during this period.
Besides, the consistency of Aloe Vera and real honey is really nice too.
The cleanser dries a bit before adding water, but the texture gets gentle and soothing when I started to wash my face with water.
Finally, the cleansing is good and tough enough to remove dirt, bacteria and other impurities but at the same time most importantly it keeps my skin moisture and hydrates after washing my face.
