Premiere Screening @ Disney's Descendants

I believe all kids grown up with the Disney's production, so do I!
There are so many Disney's production which can easily remind us of our childhood memories such as Cinderella, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Beauty and the Beast etc.
It is good that Disney convey our childhood cartoons into actual dramas whereby we can continue watching them no matter what age we are.

It was such a great honor to be invited to join the exclusive screening of the new comedy-drama from Disney on last weekend.
The event held at the brand new GSC at Nu Sentral.
Many thanks to Jessica and Janet from In-Deed Communication for the invitation to this special event.

The whole event was happening with all kids around.
There were some fun activities for kids including competition of dressing the best Disney's outfit, and also photo-taking at the prepared photo booth.

I am one of the kid on that day! #hehe
Here's my printed copy from the printing booth for my collection.

Have you ever wondered what would happen if the Disney's characters that we seen on the screen had their children one day?
I believe it would be surprised to meet their prince and princess if they had one right?
Well, Descendants is what the next big hit from Disney's after the "High School Musical"!

Descendant's is a story about the next generations of the Disney's villains who have been banished from the idyllic kingdom of Auradon and live on the remote island for the last 20 years.
They forced to spend their remaining days with their kids away from the Auradon's modern-day luxury.

One day, before Prince Ben (Mitchell Hope), the son of the King and Queen from "Beauty and the Beast" is poisoned to take the throne, his first proclamation is offers a chance at redemption to the descendants of the villains.
He allows the four trouble makers of Mal (Dove Cameron) daughter of "Maleficen", Evie (Sofia Carson) offspring of "Evil Queen", Carlos (Cameron Boyce) son of "Cruella de Vil", and Jay (Booboo Stewart) son of "Jafar", who have been imprisoned on the forbidden Isle back to the Auradon's kingdom.

Prince Ben thinks the villains' children are innocent and would want to give an opportunity to the four trouble makers to prove that they will not follow in the footsteps of their wicked parents.
So, he allows them return to the Auradon kingdom and attend the prep school with the other teenagers of Fairy Godmother, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, and Mulan.

Things have achieved as what the Prince Ben wishes after these evil kids meet up with the kids of goodness.
They have found their self-confidence, beauty within, freedom of choice, personal responsibility, teamwork, justice and empathy at the end.

Descendants is written by Josann McGibbon and Sara Parriott from "The Starter Wife" and "Desperate Housewives".
And it is directed by the Emmy Award-winning director and choreographerKenny Ortega from the "High School Musical".

Disney's Descendant is like High School Musical meets Once Upon a Time, where the drama is a contemporary live-action adventure comedy with exciting music and performance.

Descendants premieres will be aired on this Sunday13 September 2015 at 11am on Disney Channel @ Astro Ch 615.
Block off this date and time on your calendar!

Eat with me @ Kuching Sarawak / Part 2

How was everyone's first week going? Good? Bad? It's okay?
Hope you all are doing good!
I just booked my trip to Kuching for this year's girlfriends'gathering in Nov.
It seems like Kuching has become my second home since I travel there so frequently. #hehe
Anyway, before the trip, here comes the part two of Eat with me in Kuching Sarawak~~~!
If you haven't read the part one, you should check it out here.

Noodle Descendants is a must-eat in Kuching.
I have known about this shop since 10 years ago, when I first time came here.
The old shop was located at the Carpenter Street and now they have moved to Padungan.
It is located along Jalan Padungan, where you just walk straight from the Cat statue of Kuching nearby the Holiday Inn Hotel.

Noodle Descendants serves noodles with mixed pork offal soup, which I usually called is as "pork noodle" (猪面).
My friends always refused to take me there, because they weren't want to waste their time in queuing. (Look at the long Q when I was there)
As per my experience so far, the average waiting time for getting a seat is about 2 hours.
It probably because they cook one by one, and also because they have limited seat.

I heard from my friends, they said this shop is always full of people, and the business is always non-stop!
Well, there are some rules to follow in the shop.
1. Before you get your table, you should queue and wait for someone to call and assign you a table.
2. Once you seated, just wait for someone come and take your order.
3. Please keep in mind that you CANNOT go and order your food, otherwise you will get scolded. #lol (It is good to pick up some newspapers or books while you're waiting)

On the wall inside the shop, you will see it represents a recognition among some newspaper.

After long-awaited, our food were served.
This is the half portion of thin noodle, you can choose either half or full portion.
The plain noodle is very stimulate the appetite, because it cooks with their recipe of source with vinegar; I personally like it very much because it tastes sour.

You can also choose a thicker noodle which they called mee pok.
Anyway, I still prefer the original thin noodle.

All plain noodle will serve with a bowl of pork offal soup.
It is a clear soup includes liver, kidney, stomach, pork belly slice, and meat ball, fish cake, fish ball, salted cabbages etc.
That's why it is so sweet of the natural taste.

Look at my long-awaited face! Confirm satisfying!
My niece asked me why we need to wait for so long, and when the noodle served, she was speechless and finish the whole thing (she usually cannot finish even half portion!)

We were totally amazed by the noodle and soup,
You couldn't find the same taste anywhere else, to be honest!
I bet everyone enjoying the food, but not the queuing experience. #lol

Noodle Descendants
188, Jalan Padungan, 93100 Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia.

As you already at the same Padungan area, you should also give a bite at Hong Kong Pau Cafe 小霸王.
This cafe offers variety of dimsum, but I only came here for their Shumai (Siumai) as this is the only recommended food from my friends.

You will notice this shop while walking to Noodle Descendants; it locates along the same road as Noodle Descendants.
They have either indoor and outdoor dining areas for the customers.

The pork dumplings are slightly different with the KL ones.
The pork is fresher, the taste is greater, and the size is also bigger than the KL ones.
It would be a good idea for you to take away some Shumai before you start the long queue at Noodle Descendants. #hehe

Hong Kong Pau Cafe
266, Jalan Padungan, 93100 Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia.

The last one to introduce for the part two is the Triangle Shaped Vegetable Dumplings from Ted-Shin Cafe.
This is slightly far from the town, whereby it is located at 17th Mile Siburan.

There are different fillings of the dumplings which includes, tofu, salted vegetables, bamboo shoots, chives, and jicama.
My friends they all strongly suggested us to give a try, so we drove up to 17th Mile which takes about 1 hour.

Each triangle shaped vegetable dumplings cost only RM0.50/pc.
Sooooo cheap!

We arrived a bit late on that day, that's why we only got to try 2 flavors which are salted vegetables and jicama.
Both are good, but I personally like salted vegetables more because it has stronger taste than jicama.
Jicama has very light taste, so if you are a kind of light taste person, you may like this.
Anyway, I actually wish to try the chives ones as I always like chives dumplings.

Ted-Shin Cafe
16, Pasar Siburan, 17 Miles, 94200 Kuching, Sarawak

This is the Kuching cat statue I mentioned at Jalan Padungang.
Keep that with you and for sure you will get to find the pork noodle.
Hope you enjoy the post for today and wish you a good September ahead!

Premiere Screening @ The Transporter Refueled

When I first watched Taken 2, I fall in it's story line, and also the cool man, Bryan Mills. #heistheman
After the second episode, I quickly downloaded Taken 1 and watched it before I flew to Scotland.
The first episode worried me a bit as I was flying to Scotland all by myself that time. You shall know what I mean if you have watched it! #lol
Then followed by Taken 3 in the cinema when it first released on the first week.
I never thought that I would like any action movies till I watched the Taken Trilogy, simple because each stories are really good and interesting!

From the same producers of Take Trilogy, The Transporter Refueled is a new movie which is going to release on 4th September 2015!
Thanks to Grabies and Seeties.me again for the special screening that I can watch my kind of movie in first hand.
If you haven't join Grabies, please join NOW.
You could get your rewards faster by accumulating the points earlier!
For more information about Grabies, welcome here.

Well, back to the movie of today!
The Transporter Refueled is a story happened in South of France, where the formal special forces, Frank Martin (Ed Skrein) enters into a game of chess with a female-fatale, Anna (Loan Chabanol) and her three sidekicks who wants to take down a group of ruthless Russian human traffickers.

Frank Martin acts as a special delivery man of anything for a price.
He abides by 3 simple rules in all his deals; no names, no questions, and no renegotiation.
I like all scenes in between Frank and his dad (Ray Stevenson) inside the movie; also Ed Skrein has a sexy deep voice and his cool, calm and well composed manner has caught my most attention! #haha

The movie is full of exciting, chasing scenes, and fighting scenes.
You really shouldn't miss this out when it release because I believe watching it on a big scream is one of the enjoyment for an action movie.
This is one of the car chasing scene from the movie.

This is another the making video of the actors' training.
It's cool, watch it!

Before the tickets are available in the cinemas, do check out it's trailer!

Lastly, thanks to my readers who showed up at the premiere screening in yesterday evening.
I hope you all enjoy the movie like I do.
