So today, let's take a short break from my traveling posts, because I want to share my personal review about the new skincare products that I'm using for this month, which is the Retinol Youth Renewal Eye Cream from the Murad Resurgence Series.
Murad Resurgence Series are in green colour packaging, which mainly to target fine lines, wrinkles, loss of firmness and elasticity to reveal youthful-looking skin.
If you followed me on my beauty posts, yea I've been using quite a few Murad series since last year, and can't deny that I really like their products and they do help to improve my overall skin condition.
Anyway, there are three types of skincare products under this range, and I'm using the Retinol Youth Renewal Eye Cream together with the Retinol Youth Renewal Night Cream in my recent beauty routine.
And for this post, I will be sharing my personal review about the Murad Retinal Youth Renewal Eye Cream, and will do the review on the Retinol Youth Renewal Night Cream on my next beauty post.

About Murad Retinal Youth Renewal Eye Cream

Murad Retinal Youth Renewal Eye Cream is a new and improved formula that gives 24 hours of hydration in order to reduce dryness and also helps brightening your skin instantly.

It mainly helps to minimize the signs of aging you can see and also the ones you can't see yet as it delivers an instant dose of retinol and a dose of retinol over time to minimize irritation and prolong benefits.
Murad has done several evidences to proof that the product works, for instance 93% saw a reduction in lines and wrinkles, smoother and softer eyes area skin, 87% noticed firmer eye area skin and 90% saw more youthful, revitalized eye area skin after using it for 4 week times.

Ingredients

The Murad Retinal Youth Renewal Eye Cream contains the special Retinol Tri-Active Technology which is a fast-acting retinol, a time-released retinol and a retinol booster helps fight lines and deep wrinkles.

It also has another 2 main ingredients which are the #1 cotton wool grass extract to deliver 24 hours of hydration to reduce dryness and also #2 marine kelp complex that helps visibly lift for revitalized, youthful-looking eyes.
Same like the other Murad's products, the eye cream is Ophthalmologist tested as well as formulated without any harm ingredients, such as parabens, sulfates, phthalates, gluten and animal-derived ingredients.

Packaging

I like the packaging as it comes in a non-messy pump dispenser bottle that gives spill-free access and also it's more hygienic.

Though the dispenser bottle does not allow you to see the liquid inside the bottle, the packaging makes it easy to dispense the contents out from the bottle.

I also think this kind of packaging will help to keep the content fresher for longer, and also preventing any bacteria or pollution contamination.

Texture & Scent

The Murad Retinol Youth Renewal Eye Cream has a sheer cream textures.
It is pleasingly light, non-greasy, easy to apply, and absorb very quickly into the skin.
Also, it doesn't have a very strong fragrance smell, but have a light, pleasant, relaxing scent to the products.

How to Use?

As I said earlier, the Murad Retinol Youth Renewal series comes in 3 different products, include face serum, eye serum and night cream.
If would be perfect if you use all three products at the same time, otherwise there is no problem with mixing other face serums or night creams from different brands.

Step #1: Apply a thin layer of Retinol Youth Renewal Serum to the whole face
Step #2: Gently pat the Retinol Youth Renewal Eye Serum around eye and lids, but avoid contact with eyes
Step #3: Massage Retinol Youth Renewal Night Cream evenly over face, neck and chest. Remember to apply SPF for morning session

If your skin tends to get irritated with the products, you should reduce the frequency of using them.

My Experiences

I'm always very self-conscious about my skin, especially at my current age now.
I have wrinkles and fine lines around my eyes, and also the laugh lines that I always so cared about.
So, after using the Murad Retinol Youth Renewal Eye Cream & for about 3 week times, here's the before and after comparisons of my skin.
I use half a pump of the eye serum for both eyes, then I use my index fingers to pat the cream under and also around my eyes area, basically a circle around my eyes.
I can see both my eyes area are improving; in terms of reducing the fine lines, or some people call it as "crow's feet".
I think the product also helps to improve the texture and the appearance around my eyes area too.
Besides, I also have a habit that using eye cream on my laugh lines as it helps to plump up the lines and seal in moisture so that the lines are less noticeable.
