Ladies, what is the one beauty product you can't ever live without everyday?
Some said concealer, some said lipstick or lip gloss, and some said mascara.....
Yeah. Well for me, I can't live the house without putting sunscreen on my face.
Sunscreen is definitely the most important when it comes to take care of a beauty skin.
I always think sunscreen is important to everyone with every skin types, even if you don't burn easily or staying outside in the sun, it's an immediate action to protect your skin by slowing down the development of wrinkles, fine lines and hyper-pigmentation, giving you an even skin tone, and also decreasing your risk of developing skin cancer.
I've been introducing quite a few Murad products in the past few months; if you followed on my blog, you shall know that :) and this time I'm going to share my most favourite sunscreen product, which is the Murad City Skin Age Defense Broad Spectrum SPF 50 PA++++.
I've been using this sunscreen for almost 2 months, it leaves my skin in great condition and without a doubt, my skin loves it very much.

What is City Skin Age Defense Broad Spectrum SPF 50 PA++++?

Murad City Skin Age Defense Broad Spectrum SPF 50 PA++++ is an ultra-light 100% mineral broad spectrum PA++++ and SPF 50 sunscreen.
Unlike other mineral sunscreens, this products has a lightweight formula that works well on all skin tones, and absorbs quickly into the skin with no ashy residue.
Also, the product claims to have Environmental Protection Technology that able to shield skin from 5 main causes of damage that accelerate signs of aging, such as blue light from devices, pollution, infrared radiation, UVA and UVB.

Based on their test results, the sunscreen shields skin from 96% of pollution, 52% of infrared radiation as well as 89% of blue light.

Ingredients

The sunscreen is safe for all skin types, normal, oily, combination, dry, sensitive skin and also suitable to use around the eye area.
It has two active ingredients; Titanium Dioxide and Zinc Oxide, where both are highly effective at blocking UVA and UVB.
In addition, it also includes:
#1 Polymer Matrix: slow down the penetration of toxins from the environment
#2 Lutein: an antioxidant that enhances protection by helping to defend against blue light
#3 Iron Oxides: help protect skin from infrared radiation, colour corrects to even tone
#4 Vitamin C: helps reveal a luminous glow
#5 Nourishing blend of Argan Oil, Comfrey Extract, and Vitamin E: help protect against environmental induced UV damage while conditioning the skin to improve overall appearance

Texture & Scent

The texture is not creamy or greasy at all.
It has a very smooth texture that can be spread over the entire face very easily.
The sunscreen contains a colour-correcting tint, a kind of soft peach tint that helps correct skin tone, and also boosts radiance immediately.
So, it actually works very well under makeup or even if you worn it alone.
In addition, the formula is fragrance free, with no additional fragrance has been added.

Packaging

The white packaging colour for the sunscreen product makes it look fresh and clean.
Also, nothing to complain about it's flexible tube packaging that can stands up upright, makes it convenient to use, and also bring it around without worrying about leakage problem.

How to Use?

#1 Shake well

#2 After daily moisturizer application, apply evenly to your entire face, neck and chest

#3 Use a generous amount, about nickel-sized amount to make sure your face is fully covered and don't miss any spots

I usually use makeup sponge instead of rubbing it on with my hands to apply sunscreen because I think that's the best way for an adequate coverage.

Sunscreen is to use everyday, before heading outdoors.

For myself, I wear it everyday, no matter my location is indoor or outdoor as I thought there will also have risks of UV exposure from lamps and other indoor light sources that we use daily, as well as the UV rays from TV, computers, tablets and phones.
So. it's always be ready to protect the skin against all the harmful UV rays.

Don't forget to double cleanse your face whenever you use mineral sunscreen as it works by sticking to your skin.

Just because you can't see it, doesn't mean it's gone. :)

My Experience

Without question, this is my favourite mineral facial sunscreen!

I have combination skin, I always opt for a lightweight sunscreen that is not greasy, not shiny, not oily and not heavy because I really don't like my face looking like a slick mess in front of the people.

For me, Murad City Skin Age Defense Broad Spectrum SPF 50 PA++++ is incredibly light and soaks into my skin immediately, also the texture itself is very smooth and easy to blend into the skin seamlessly.

Besides, I also like the finishing that leaves no white, no grayish cast upon application.

It looks very natural till I can wear it as a makeup primer for my makeup, or just apply it without makeup when I wanted rest my skin from foundation.

I think the only downside is that it is expensive compared to the other sunscreens in the market, but I think it's that worth the money.
