It's been a while since I last visited Intermark Mall in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.
I remembered the last time I visited the mall was in 2018, perhaps?!
Wow! Time flies! It's year 2020 now!
Yea so, as the new year is going to start in a couple of days, I went to Intermark Mall in last week as I heard the mall is celebrating Chinese New Year with the theme of "Shanghai Splendour"!
The mall is full of festive booths and colourful CNY decorations that filled with "Shanghai feel" which certainly gets you in some real CNY mood!
There are also many interesting performances taking place at the same time too!
In that case, I'm here to share what Intermark Mall has to offer to you guys in this red festive season! #excited
Starting from 8 January to 9 February 2020, Intermark Mall welcomes shoppers to revel in Oriental charm with “Shanghai Splendour” and to immerse in charming festive decor, abundant shopping and dining options, fabulous rewards, as well as new stores to explore this beautiful Chinese New Year.
When it comes to Chinese New Year, we will always be greeted with red decorations everywhere we go.
At Intermark Mall, the Chinese New Year decorations are decorated in East-meets-West style which inspired by the beauty of Chinoiserie.
The entire decorations are very impressive, by including Chinese red lanterns, cheery blossom trees, red hanging decorations, lunar antique dishes, vintage furniture etc.

Since it's been about 2 years ago I visited Intermark Mall, I found the mall is giving shoppers a more diverse selection of stores than ever before.
For instance, A Day 一日商號, located at ground floor, where they gather all good vibes, lifestyles and the best minds from artisans, designers, and makers to showcase an exclusive selection of festive decorations and accessories for gifts to loved ones.

The DIY process is not as easy as it seems, there are really so many details to follow to get the whole thing done beautifully. :)

If you are an art lover, check out Art by Ratna, located at ground floor, who developed watercolour painting since 2016.
Ratna focuses mostly on nature, and antique chinoiserie is one of her forte.
She also conducts monthly workshops to spread the knowledge of watercolour and has collaborated with different organizations to encourage others to develop their creativity.
She now has over 300 pieces of paintings under her belt, and keeps challenging herself to recreate anything that catches her attention.
